OnePlus is a name in the smartphone industry that doesn’t need any introduction, despite being a startup that started operations just a couple of years back. With their ‘flagship killer’ devices, the company made sure that every user could taste a flagship smartphone without digging a hole in their pocket. Both OnePlus One and 2 were brilliant devices, and we are expecting a next iteration in the series very soon. Meanwhile, we have already started to see the OnePlus 3 leak detailing its features.
A few days, a leaked benchmark gave details about the OnePlus 3 code-named “Rain”. According to the OnePlus 3 leak, the phone will come with 5-inch full HD display and will sport a 16 MP camera on the back, and will have an 8 MP camera on the front. The smartphone will obviously run on on 2.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530. Also, the device will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
As per the leak, the OnePlus 3 is said to come in two variants. The first one will come with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, while the other variant will come with 6 GB of RAM and will come with 64 GB of internal storage. It also indicates that the all new OnePlus device will be launched on May 28, and its bookings will start in June.
According to the rumour rounds, the company is now willing to change the design of their flagship smartphone, and do away with the sandstone finish on the back. The proof was seen in their lower end smartphone- OnePlus X, which came with glass unibody design, and was highly appreciated by the users and critics alike. The things will only be confirmed when the company officially announces its new smartphone.
Another OnePlus 3 leak from China showed an image clicked from the 16 MP camera of the device. You can find the image below. It is a macro shot of a flower captured in broad day light. The pic as is looks quite good, with balanced colour and sharpness. But, the true strength of a camera is known while taking low light pics. We might still be a month or two away from the official launch of the smartphone, but these leaks seem to keep us hooked.
