When Google acquired Motorola, it managed to change the face of the company, and made it one of the sought after smartphone manufacturer all over the world. The phones seemed refreshed and they all featured stock Android, which was liked by many customers who wanted Nexus experience in a budget device. They managed to capture the Indian market too, with the Moto G series which is a perfect balance between features and price.
The Moto G3 was a very successful device in India and it was sold in large number in the country, despite receiving competition from many Chinese players. While the device is about to get an update, we have already started to see live images of the upcoming Moto G4. As you can see in the pics, the company will now include a fingerprint scanner on the front of the device. It is still not known that the sensor will act as a home button as well or not.
Not only the front, Motorola has also changed the back of the Moto G4. It now comes with a redesigned the camera setup. The camera setup is now made of glass, and the rest of the back now has a smooth matte finish, unlike textured one on the Moto G3. Below the camera, there is the trademark Moto dimple with branding. The design seems simple yet handy for day to day usage.
in an earlier leak, it was revealed that the device will house a 5.5-inch display. The camera on the device would be of 13 Mp resolution, and the Moto G4 will have 16 GB internal storage, which will be expandable. It was said to cost 240 Eruo or $271 approx. There will also be a Moto G4 Plus variant that will have same screen size, but will sport a 16 MP camera and will cost 280 Euro or $316 approx.
