One after the other, Lenovo has been launching multiple smartphones in India. Lenovo K4 Note was launched a few days back, and now the company has launched its Vibe X3, which comes with some high end specifications. The Lenovo Vibe X3 sports a design similar to the K4 Note, but the internals are updated to compete with high end smartphones.
Lenovo has done a brilliant job in designing the device, and the build quality is simply top notch. The Lenovo Vibe X3 sports a metal body that is quite sturdy and feels a lot more premium than similarly priced smartphones. It is available only in white colour option, but the device looks good in that colour too.
Lenovo has given a large 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution and is covered with Gorilla Glass 3. The screen is extremely sharp and vivid with really wide viewing angles. The device also features twin stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for a great experience while watching videos, listening music and playing games on the device.
While most of the smartphones in sub 20,000 price range come with Snapdragon 615 processor, Lenovo has gone a step ahead and included the Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor. The processor is generally seen in higher end devices, and as a result, the Lenovo Vibe X3 gives smooth performance and lag free user interface. It is accompanied by Adreno 418 GPU for handling graphics on the device.
Besides an amazing processor, the smartphone also includes ample RAM of 3 GB. With a combination of Snapdragon 808 processor and 3 GB of RAM, the performance and multitasking are smoother than butter. The internal storage of the device is 32 GB, and it can be expanded up to 128 GB using a hybrid microSD card slot.
The camera unit on the device is of 21 MP that supports f/2.0 aperture and PDAF technology for faster focus lock. The sensor is Sony IMX230, and has 4K video recording capabilities. And there is an 8 MP camera unit on the front for the device for taking selfies. In the brief time for which we used the device, we found that the both the cameras are just amazing, considering the device’s segment.
On the connectivity front, the phone supports hybrid dual SIM card slots, of which, the second one can also be used for adding a microSD card for memory expansion. It has supports for 4G LTE connectivity on Indian bands, and is also capable of connecting to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. It has 3600 mAh battery for long battery backup.
At a price of Rs. 19,999, the Lenovo VibeX3 offers a lot of features and it is very difficult to find a better device in this price range. It is available exclusively on Amazon, and you can grab one by taking part in the flash sales of the device.
