Intex Cloud String HD with Fingerprint Scanner, 4G Launched for Rs 5599

Intex has lately launched a lot of smartphones in the budget segment, and most of them come with usual features and specifications set. But the Intex Cloud String HD that was launched today, is one of the first devices in the sub-6000 rupees segment to come with a fingerprint sensor. Fingerprint sensors were seen as a feature exclusive to the high end segment, but this year many companies brought the feature to mid-range devices too. And Intex took it a step further to launch it in low-end budget segment.

It has a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, and has 2.5D curved glass on top. There are three touch capacitive Android navigation keys below the screen. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. As said above, it has a fingerprint scanner on the back, and it sits right below the rear camera of the device.

Talking about the processing power, it runs on Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core processor, and is clocked at 1.3 GHz. 1 GB RAM takes care of multitasking and the Intex Cloud String HD has an internal storage of 8 GB. It supports microSD cards up to 32 GB. It is a dual-SIM smartphone and supports 4G connectivity along with VoLTE for uninterrupted voice calling over LTE network.

The camera on the back of the device is of 8 MP that comes with dual LED flash and has Samsung sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera on the device is of 5 MP. The battery capacity of the Intex Cloud String HD is 2200 mAh. The company has priced the device at Rs. 5599, and is available exclusively on Flipkart.
